We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Contractor to join our growing team in retail platform sales in Kigali, Rwanda. This role offers a base salary of RWF250,000 and a commission of 5% for every vendor signed as well as a quarterly performance based bonus. Additionally, the role is fully-remote with regular meetings at the office on a need basis.
About The Role
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in business development or related field
Bachelor's degree or higher
Proven track record in closing sales deals
Must be based in Kigali, Rwanda

Responsibilities
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and increase vendor sign-ups.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential vendors.
Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new vendors
Must be an effective communicator with great verbal, written, and presentation skills. You are also honest, transparent, and authentic in your communications with the team.
Collaborating with teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors into the platform.
