We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Contractor to join our growing team in retail platform sales in Kigali, Rwanda. This role offers a base salary of RWF250,000 and a commission of 5% for every vendor signed as well as a quarterly performance based bonus. Additionally, the role is fully-remote with regular meetings at the office on a need basis.

About The Role

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development or related field

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Proven track record in closing sales deals

  • Must be based in Kigali, Rwanda

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and increase vendor sign-ups.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential vendors.

  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract new vendors

  • Must be an effective communicator with great verbal, written, and presentation skills. You are also honest, transparent, and authentic in your communications with the team.

  • Collaborating with teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors into the platform.
